The Windmill Hotel

A boutique hotel full of charm and history. The Windmill Hotel was originally an 18th century coaching house and today is listed on the national heritage list for England. It is now home to a hotel, bar and restaurant, all freshly renovated with modern comfort in mind. Our rooms include double rooms, family rooms and a 2 bedroom apartment complete with a fully stocked kitchen, dining and living space. Our superior double suite boasts a four poster bed alongside beautiful bay windows which look out over the market square.

The hotel is situated in the historic market town of Alford, which boasts a working 5 sailed windmill, a 17th century manor house and a 14th century church. Quiet and picturesque with good road links in all directions, Alford is a great base for exploring rural Lincolnshire, situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds and just 7 miles to the East Coast beaches.

The Windmill Hotel has an onsite bar and restaurant serving traditional pub classics. Our bar is open 7 days a week but restaurant hours do vary so please check our website for details.
