Dogdyke is a land drainage pumping station with a working steam engine from 1856 and a Ruston and Hornsby diesel engine from 1940. There is a museum on site with history of drainage in the local area and a small tearoom with fresh cakes. We often exhibit other attractions such as small oil engines, vintage cars as well as Lincolnshire Longwool Sheep.
The steam engine is the original Bradley and Craven and is possibly the oldest steam driven drainage engine in the county which is still in steam and in the original position.
