Stourton Woods is a family-run rural estate and visitor attraction set in beautiful woodland and parkland on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, just north of Horncastle and adjacent to the Walled Garden Baumber.
At the heart of the historic Stourton Estate, the venue has been carefully restored from once overgrown and inaccessible woodland into a safe and welcoming space where visitors can enjoy nature, open landscapes and the sight of majestic herds of Red Deer roaming the parkland.
Today, Stourton Woods offers a unique countryside experience where farming, nature, wildlife and seasonal events come together.

Events
From May to October, Stourton Woods hosts a programme of family-friendly public events, attracting visitors from across Lincolnshire and beyond. One of the most popular attractions at the events is the Farm Safari — a tractor and trailer ride offering a unique way to explore the estate and see the deer and cattle in the surrounding countryside.
Throughout the season, visitors can enjoy artisan markets, fairs and festivals. During events, self-guided waymarked trails around the lakes are open for visitors to explore, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
Weddings at Stourton
Set within secluded woodland overlooking lakes and grazing deer, the safari tent at Stourton Woods is a magical setting for weddings. With flexible options, outdoor ceremonies, festoon-lit evenings by the fire pit and dedicated planning support, couples can create a relaxed, personal celebration surrounded by nature.
Venison
High-quality venison is produced from the herd of predominantly grass-fed Red Deer, lovingly reared on the estate. Venison is available throughout the year, with collection or local delivery available.
Wild Camping
Escape to the countryside with friends and family by booking a pitch in the arboretum and experience peaceful weekend wild camping in a unique woodland setting.
