The Old Nick Theatre is a unique Grade II listed building, which served as Gainsborough's original police station and courtrooms. The original courtroom has been transformed into a theatre in the round and the police station restored back to its former state complete with cells and exercise yards.
It is an arts and culture venue and is home to the Gainsborough Theatre Company, an award winning amateur dramatics theatre company. The theatre also regularly welcomes visiting theatre companies.

All tours of our Victorian Police Station need to be booked in advance.
You can walk around yourself or have a guided tour.
They are open from 10:30 - 15:30, most days dependent on staffing.
