Pheasant Holiday Cottage, is a thoughtfully renovated 1850s farm labourer's cottage. Located in the picturesque parish of Rigsby, it’s nestled within the serene Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Ideal for 2 to 4 guests, Pheasant features one double bedroom and a twin room with two single beds, alongside a first-floor family bathroom equipped with an independent shower over the bath. The ground floor boasts a fully equipped kitchen/diner that comfortably seats four, and a cosy lounge complete with a feature fireplace. Guests will find modern conveniences such as central heating, complimentary Wi-Fi, and all linen and towels provided.
For accessibility, the cottage has two steps up to its heated entry porch, though level access is also available from the front elevation directly to the upstairs footwell. The stairs to the upper floor have been reprofiled to be less steep than originally built.
Outside, enjoy a secure, fenced garden that is dog-friendly, offering a safe space for your pets (who are welcome for an additional charge). Off-road parking for two vehicles is provided, and there's a shared 22kW electric vehicle (EV) charge point available on the farm, approximately 200 metres from the cottage, for a weekly fee. Secure storage for up to four cycles is also available.
Pheasant offers a truly peaceful, rural retreat, with direct access to numerous public footpaths and cycle routes right from your doorstep. The cottage is conveniently situated in a quiet woodside spot, adjacent to Rigsby House and Rigsby Church. The charming market town of Alford, known for its arts and crafts, is just 2 miles away, and the award-winning sandy beaches of the Lincolnshire coast are less than a 30-minute drive. The owners live nearby and are always happy to help ensure a great stay. Seven-night stays are available, with prices ranging from £300 to £650 depending on the season.
