RAF Wickenby Aerodrome Memorial Service

The RAF Wickenby Memorial Service, held every September, is the anniversary of Wickenby Aerodrome opening for operations in September 1942 and the arrival of 12th Squadron.

Join the team at Wickenby Aerodrome as they bring everyone together to commemorate all of those who lost their lives in battle during the Second World War.

The service will be held on Sunday 17th September at 1400 hours, including representatives from Wickenby Aerodrome, 12th Squadron, Royal British Legion, Royal Observer Corps, RAF Association and local air cadets, we will then joined by a Lancaster fly past at 1438 hours

The service will then with end with a RAF trumpeter playing the last post.
