The Jews House Restaurant have one goal: to give you an experience to remember. Known for its creative menu and attentive service, this fine dining restaurant is a must-visit.

Housed in one of the oldest buildings in Lincoln, The Jews House is located at the bottom of Steep Hill. Award-winning chef Gavin Aitkenhead and Samantha Tomkins have been running the restaurant for over twenty years.

Gavin's philosophy on food is simple: “My aim as a chef is first and foremost about flavour, then we can get to work on the right balance of textures and cooking techniques. I am passionate about using the best suppliers whether a simple salad or a beautiful saddle of lamb.”

You can choose from a set menu, Wednesday and Thursday and tasting menu, Wednesday to Saturday, both of which showcase the finest locally sourced produce.

If you're celebrating something special, the restaurant has two private dining rooms available for hire, perfect for a romantic evening or intimate dinner with family and friends.
